I-10 (toward Tucson) and Loop 202 (Santan Freeway) restrictions in the East Valley this weekend

Work related to freeway management system installation project

Work to install traffic-management equipment will require eastbound restrictions on I-10 and Loop 202 in the East Valley, according to the Arizona Department of Transportation.

Drivers should expect the following I-10 and Loop 202 restrictions beginning Friday night:

  • I-10 eastbound (toward Tucson) narrowed to one lane between Warner Rd. and Chandler Blvd. I-10 eastbound on-ramp at Ray Rd. closed. Please allow extra travel time and consider alternate routes, including Loop 101 southbound to Loop 202 westbound (Santan Freeway) to connect with I-10 eastbound from 10 p.m. Friday - noon Saturday (April 11).
  • Loop 202 eastbound (Santan Freeway) closed between 40th St. (along Pecos Rd.) and Kyrene Rd. Both I-10 ramps to Loop 202 eastbound (Santan Freeway) closed. Please consider alternate routes, including eastbound Ray Rd. to southbound Kyrene Rd. from 10 p.m. Saturday - noon Sunday (April 12).
